An Encounter of Persons: DBPH Staff Lenten Recollection

In the middle of the hustle and bustle of office works, employees of Don Bosco Provincial House were able to spend a day in reflection on March 30, 2023 in preparation for the season of Lent. Fr. Regino Carlo P. Godinez facilitated the whole-day activity.
The morning session featured talks on the following topics: Love Within the Family and God’s Mercy: Do Not Fear, God is Near. During the talk, Fr. Godinez emphasized the importance of examining and looking deeper at the individual person’s experiences. Moreover, the staff were given ample time to sit down with their groupmates and share experiences and insights that enabled them to get to know and connect with each other in a more personal level.
In the afternoon, the staff were given moments of silence for individual reflection followed by the sacrament of confession and was concluded with a Holy Mass.
The recollection allowed the staff to pause, reflect, and share ordinary stories of extraordinary experiences with one another. Indeed, an encounter of persons.
