Liturgical Formation for Youth Groups

On Wednesday, April 17, 2024, Rev. Fr. Keith Amodia, SDB led a Liturgical Formation in the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes where various youth groups including Knights of the Altar, Lilies of the Altar, Lourdes Parish Youth Rondalla, Sta. Cicilia Youth Choir, Biblos Sodality, and Juventus Sodality gathered to learn about the intricacies of the Mass and the its four major parts.
The youth learned about the significance, history and value of the Holy Mass since they themselves serve and animate the youth mass of the parish every Sunday at 6:00 pm. In understanding better the celebration, young people can better appreciate and love the beauty of the liturgy.
The formation imparted to the them the Mass’s importance and elegance, and emphasizing reverence and prayer. This serves as an awareness of their youthful role within the Mass and dedicate themselves through active participation in the faith Community.
