DBFC Launching of the Salesian Vocation Month 2019
“Salesian life: with the young anytime, all the time!” is the theme for the Vocation Month which Don Bosco Formation Center launched last September 1. Parents of Prenovices, guests, and the Provincial, Fr. Godofredo Atienza were present. The program opened with a dance by the aspirants which was followed by sharing of vocation story by 2nd year Aspirant Vince Pedrola. Afterwards, 1st year Aspirant Virgilio Alicaway III did a human beatbox performance. The Salesians also had a song presentation entitled, ‘Buhay Seminaryo.’ Then, the Prenovices danced and sang as a tribute for their parents and guests. Fr. Amelito Racelis, SDB, DBFC Rector, then gave a short talk and announced the formal opening of the Salesian Vocation Month for the DBFC community. The program ended with the singing of the song, ‘Pilgrim’s Theme’ and followed by dancing, ‘Salt and Light’ of the Aspirants and Novices. Fr. Godo then gave the final blessing to everyone present.
