Commissioning of the Novices
December 15, 2020 – At the onset of the Misa de Gallo this year, the Christ-like Novices from the Don Bosco Sacred Heart Novitiate have been formally commissioned to be Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Communion. Despite the CoViD-19 pandemic phenomenon, the Salesian community of Don Bosco Formation Center foresaw that hundreds of people will still gather for the centuries-long tradition of the Misa de Gallo. Hence, they commissioned the novices so that they can assist in giving Communion to the Mass-goers and also to lessen the movement among the people.
