A New Site for the New Normal
The Social Communications Office of the Salesian Philippine South (FIS) recently unveiled the new website of the province last March 19, 2021 during the feast day of St. Joseph the Husband of Mary.
The Salesians keep their online presence through the official website of the province. The website remains an important tool and portal for spreading the works of St. John Bosco and to promote issues that affect young people. For the Salesian Family, the province website is a news aggregator that delivers the latest beat among the Salesian works and settings.
This website is maintained by the Social Communications Office through the help of the IT Unit of Don Bosco Technical College (DBTC).
The new website actually presents to us a landmark step in our technical capability. This new website is made by us, powered by us, and works for us.
FR. KEITH AMODIA, SDB, Delegate for Social Communications
While most websites are hosted on the cloud, websites in the province are slowly being migrated in the IT infrastructure of DBTC to take advantage of its multi-WAN, high-bandwidth connection and computing resources. A focus team also ensures that all digital assets of Salesians are well maintained and updated.
