Who is she?: Dora the Explorer

Hello! I am Ma. Abigail V. Salandron, an alumnus of Don Bosco Technical College-Cebu Inc. I am also been a Biblos youth leader at Don Bosco Youth Center – Lawaan for five years now, and throughout those years, I have had a huge interest in serving my fellow young people, guiding them to choose the right path in life. I love to explore new things and travel to places I have never been to. Explorer’s logbook, I am so excited to share with you the number of ideas, how-to’s, inspirations, and my journey with my fellow young people.

I am also a dog person. I own two Shih Tzus and named them Jack from Titanic and Shine (my sunshine). I love them so much and they are beyond adorable. Besides serving my fellow young people and journeying, I am obsessed with all kinds of sports. I used to play table tennis and flag football on a semi-pro level, but lately, I prefer individual sports, like running, indoor workouts, and hiking. I am also a movie freak, and I can predict Oscar winners with 95% certainty (according to my calculator, but you should know statistics has never been my cup of tea).

I am thankful to the Social Communications office for giving me this opportunity wherein I can write and share my thoughts from the youth’s perspective. In addition, my experiences in the youth ministry, my faith journey as part of the Salesian Youth Movement, and following the footsteps of St. John Bosco.
