The Don Bosco Mambukal Retreat House was brimming with priceless memories as we had our re-echo of the Negros cluster LAF(Leaders and Animators Formation). The Rotary Club of Bacolod South provided us with the guest speaker, Atty. Adelaide Nancy Sybil G. Ayeng, who gave a talk on “The Social Media”, guiding the young on how to use it productively and acquire self discipline in using it.
There were 32 young people who attended, together with the leaders and animators. The PYC(Parish Youth Council) with our President Jessica came up with the theme “Acknowledging the past, envisioning the future” as we honor our newly canonized lay Salesian Brother St. Artemide Zatti. Inspired by his life we the young people of Mambukal are challenged to be at our best in facing the future especially in the virtual world of social media.
A huge thanks to all who supported this activity especially the Don Bosco Mambukal Community, Rotary Club of Bacolod South and those people who made this activity possible. We did not only learn but also enjoyed with our co-young people as we had our team building activities.
Don Bosco once said, “the primary happiness of a child consists in knowing that they are loved”. Thank you so much for making us feel loved as we are formed to be the best that we are and given the chance to enjoy our youth with holy joy.
