ADMA Olango Kicks Off Rosary Month
by our own correspondence
The Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA), Olango Chapter, together with the Parish Priest of St. Augustine Parish, Fr. Edgar Lumarda, and the Assistant Parish Priest, Fr. Marc Jade Giduquio, organized a motorcade to kick off the month of the Holy Rosary. As an initiative of the ADMA members, the image of Mary Help of Chritians was used for the said motorcade.
At dawn of October 1st the parishioners and 7 ADMA members joined the motorcade which lasted for 1 and a half hours. Praying of the Holy Rosary and singing of Marian hymns accompanied the entire route of the motorcade. They were able to visit a total of 8 barangays of Olango Island.
ADMA Olango Chapter is in its infancy stage since it was just established last 14th of July, 2018, yet it is one of the most active ADMA chapters in FIS. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Mr. Junbrey Vargas and Miss Aloha Tongco, the devotion to Mary Help of Christians, and the Association of Mary Help of Christians propagated in Olango, an island off the coast of the mainland of Cebu. Their numbers are growing and more people have come to know the works of Don Bosco.
