Don Bosco Technical College – Cebu, October 23, 2021 – Since the beginning of October, the students and teachers of DBTC has been praying the Rosary online in observance of the Rosary month. This is an ongoing push in our Salesian schools to promote the devotion to Our Lady among our Bosconians in their classes.
The Rosary is prayed at the beginning of their virtual classes in the morning. The first two mysteries are led by volunteers in the morning, another mystery in the midmorning, and the last two mysteries at their last video conference for the day with their teachers. It is a tradition in Don Bosco to celebrate October as the Month of the Holy Rosary and pray the rosary every day.
Another tradition that Bosconians observe is the keeping of the Rosary in one’s pocket. It was St. John Bosco himself who encouraged his boys to always entrust themselves to the protection of the Mother of Our Lord.
