Salesians of Don Bosco – Philippine South Province FIS

Brave hearts. It took a lot of courage to accept the invitation of the Kool Adventure Camp (KAC) but there is more to having brave hearts in surpassing physical obstacles—it is rediscovering yourself.

One will think that it will be the usual camp. But it is more than that. KAC is a different experience. You will feel yourself blessed to have most likely joined because it is the first and only-fully dedicated adventure education center in the country.

After a one-hour land travel from the concrete jungle of Cebu lies a sanctuary where serenity rests. More than having the towering and nerve-racking obstacles, which are also known as “dragons”, that would welcome the participants in the RAFI-KAC Adventure Education Center at Cansamoroy, Balamban, Cebu, the place itself is home where being YOURSELF is totally fine. And it is the challenge that the 90 participants from different Salesian Youth Movements (SYM) courageously took on February 8-10, 2017.

The experience gave the participants the opportunity to rediscover themselves and what they can do. After all, the real dragons are the ones we experience in the tough world we have today.
