Don Bosco Philippines South Province

In a bid to broaden their perspectives, the Commission on Youth Ministry (CYM) recently embarked on a learning journey in Bangkok, Thailand from March 19-25, 2024. Led by Bro. Carmelo Martinez, SDB, and the Don Bosco Educational Centers (DBEC) of the Philippine North Province, the delegation delved into the Salesian educational landscape of Bangkok. The participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the best practices of Don Bosco College of Technology and Saint Dominic School through campus tours.

In addition to school visits, the delegation participated in the Asia Pacific Conference on Curriculum Studies and Instructional Designing held at Baiyoke Sky Hotel from March 22 to 24. The conference, themed “Curriculum Studies Across Diverse Contexts: Designing the Future,” served as a platform to exchange ideas on curriculum development and instructional design in varied settings.

The CYM looks forward to leveraging the insights gained from this experience to enhance the FIS educational programs and initiatives.
