Don Bosco Technical College – Cebu – The Pastoral Animation Department in cooperation with the FIS Vocation Promoter, Fr. Vince Michael Sabal, SDB and the Salesian aspirants of Don Bosco Formation Center, held a Vocation Campaign for Grades 10 to 12, TVET and college students last Friday, February 10, 2023. Students gathered at the school gym to learn more about the Salesian religious vocation and to share stories with aspirants who have begun to follow the call.
Around 400 young men listened to Fr. Vince as he shared the beauty and challenges of following St. John Bosco’s footsteps. After the plenary talk, the participants broke into groups where Salesian aspirants shared their own vocation journey and entertained questions.
At closing, Fr. Vince invited Bosconians who have an inclination towards the Salesian vocation to try out the seminary life through the three-day weekend search-in program. He also invited everyone to attend the Vocation Jamboree 2023 that will be hosted by the Archdiocese of Cebu this coming February 25 to 26, 2023.
