August 25 to 26, 2018, Victorias City, Negros Occidental – How can young people know and follow their vocation in life? Twelve young men took the challenge of an outdoor camp in Mambucal, Murcia, Negros Occidental in order to answer this question. The DBTI Seeker’s Camp is a discernment program that initiates boys from Grades 10 to 12 into the question of “What is God’s plan for me in my life?” Through fellowship activities and a vocational talk, they got to know each other’s unique journey in life and listen attentively to the call of God.
The FIS Province celebrates its Salesian Vocation Month from August 15 to September 16. The DBTI Seeker’s Camp is meant to guide and encourage young men to go “Farther, Better, Deeper” in considering the Salesian religious life. Bong Borgueta, SDB gave them a vocational talk at a bonfire in the evening after their afternoon hike to the water falls of Mambucal.
