Don Bosco Quetta Celebrates Anniversary

Quetta, Pakistan – March 25 – The Solemnity of the Annunciation of Our Lord gladdens the whole human race, and on this special occasion, Don Bosco Learning Center marked 23 years of its existence and dedication to education.

To celebrate its Foundation Day, the students and teachers of Don Bosco Learning Center organized a beautiful program. The event was honored by the presence of Fr. Pervez Raza, OMI, the parish priest of Christ the King Parish and Vicar General of the Apostolic Vicariate of Quetta, joined by Fr. Amir Shehzad, OMI.

Komal Munir, a grade 10 student, emotionally recounted the history of Don Bosco in Quetta, while Zarbano Muhammad Ali narrated the center’s current services.

Fr. Samuel Adnan, SDB,, the rector, described the celebration as a “gesture of thanksgiving” to God and to the people, especially the pioneer Fr. Peter Zago, who dedicated his life and service to this institution, educating young minds and nurturing their potential.

To make the day even more special, a skills center for women and young people was inaugurated by Fr. Tahir Satar, the parish priest of St. Pius X Parish. Many young people and faithful from the community were present as the rector led the program and blessed the newly equipped building.
