Laudato Si’ Week 2020
The Salesian Youth Movement-FIS celebrated the Laudato Si’ Week 2020 last May 16 to 24 as an answer to the invitation of Pope Francis to the whole Catholics. It had the theme: “Everything is Connected”. It marked the celebration of the fifth anniversary of Pope Francis’ encyclical on the care for our common home which was signed May 24, 2015.
In practicing care for the environment, the Core Group challenged daily young people to apply the elements of the Salesian Youth Spirituality. Pictures of each member’s tasks were posted in the Facebook page of the SYM-FIS. The youth did the challenges at home.
