Volunteers Experience DB-Pasil

Finally they are back!
Thanks to SALVO (Salesian Volunteers) through Fr. Vince Sabal, SDB, for including DBTC Suba-Pasil as one of the itineraries of the two German Salesian Volunteers: Moritz Warsberg and Mailin Louise Seckinger.
Both Moritz and Mailin were brought to DBPasil at 10:00 am on 15th September 2022. They settled in their respective rooms in the 3rd floor of the convent. They were Bro. Moritz and Sr. Mailin for these days since they resided in the convent rooms of the Salesians and they join in the community life of the Salesians: eating with them, praying with them in the morning lauds, assisting and playing with the youth in the Youth Center and TVET.
They experienced the simple life of our young people in the parish as well as with the Salesians who minister in the locality. This opened their eyes and minds to the reality that they don’t see in their part of the world.
Other activities include going around Freedom Park, Carbon Market, Sto. Niño Basilica, the Metropolitan Cathedral, Plaza Independencia, Mo. Teresa House, Tabo-an Market, San Nicolas Church, and the Tuslob-buwa and night life experience in Suba-Pasil.
The 2 volunteers stayed in DB-Pasil until the 17th.
