YOUTH VIGIL 2019: SERVANTS OF THE LORD. In line with the celebration of the feast of St. John Bosco, Don Bosco Youth Center Lawaan organized their annual Youth Vigil with the theme, “Do not be afraid Mary: Let it be done to me according to your Word” (Luke 1:38), same as the theme of the upcoming National Youth Day (NYD) 2019 to be held in Cebu on April 23-28, 2019..
203 young people gathered from nearby schools and youth organizations in Lawaan and other Don Bosco Youth Center settings: DBYC Liloan, DBTC – DBYC and DBYC Lourdes. The vigil has three important highlights, (1) the informative and insightful talk about Servant Leadership as Vocation of the youth by Ms. Jayriel Cui, (2) the Eucharistic Adoration headed by Fr. Rosmon Miguelangelo Valenciano, SDB, DBYC-Lawaan youth in-charge, and lastly, (3) the Praise and Worship. The young people filled the night with graceful dances, youthful songs, and solemn prayer.
