Don Bosco Philippines South Province

January 25, 2020 – Don Bosco Formation Center. During the novena days of the Feast Day of St. John Bosco, the Don Bosco Youth Center Lawaan had its annual Youth Vigil with the theme “Faith Ko, Flex, Ko; Finding Answers In The Heart”. The morning rains did not stop the late afternoon activity organized with much determination and hardwork from the youth members.

The program was hosted by Arjhon Dinaguit and Leona Jane Villanueva. The invocation was led by the DBYC LOA which was followed by the opening remarks of the rector, Rev. Fr. Mel Racelis, SDB.

The vigil followed the Church’s Year of Ecumenism, Inter-Religious Dialogue & Indigenous Peoples: “Dialogue Towards Harmony.” Michael Ray Angelou Chiquillo, Youth Vigil 2020 Speaker, pointed out various faith issues of the youth today. In addition, the inputs were about how the young people are flexing their faith in different ways.

Youthful vibes and amazing participation from young people marked the celebration. The night ended with traditional good night talk by Rev. Fr. Vince Michael Sabal, SDB.
