Not All is Equal Yet God is Fair
The one who had received five talents came forward bringing the additional five. He said, ‘Master, you gave me five talents. See, I have made five more.’ His master said to him, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master’s joy.’ Mt 25:14-30

Abraham Lincoln was president during the turbulent Civil War between rebellious Confederates and loyal Republicans. In the third year of the war on New Year of 1863, Abe declared all slaves in the rebel states free, saying “All are equal.
Yet in the gospel, God gave unequal talents to the servants: 5, 2, and 1 talents.
But no worry God is still fair because He kept in mind each individual’s capacity. He expected only 5 from the one who had received 5. And so on.
In life, we see people who have not much to be satisfied because the little that God gave them is sufficient to make them happy. They need nothing more. God gives us everything according to our needs. We do not receive too little or too much but the right amount.
Men might be unequal but God is always fair.
God is not unfair. He is just merciful to sinners. God is Love and loves everybody. But He is more happy over a single sinner who repents.
