Don Bosco Philippines South Province

It is with a heavy heart that we Salesians of Philippine South (FIS) Province inform you that Fr. Pietro Francesco “Franco” Uras, SDB, passed away this 3:45 am, August 31, 2022 in the ICU of Brokenshire Hospital in Davao City. Fr. Franco was 78 yrs old, 58 yrs in the religious life and 48 yrs in the priestly ministry. We pray that God may comfort Fr. John Cardinal (his Rector) and his Community in Dacudao, Calinan, Davao (& in Buda).

May the good Lord grant to Fr. Franco, his faithful servant, eternal rest, peace & happiness in paradise.

Schedule of wake and burial:

Sept. 5, Monday

AM: arrival of the casket in Cebu. Wake starts in Lourdes Parish Church, Punta (OLLAS).

7:30pm: Salesian Family Vigil Mass in Lourdes Parish Church, Punta (OLLAS)

Sept. 6, Tuesday

1:00pm: Funeral Mass in OLLAS presided by Fr. Provincial followed by internment (burial) rites in the Salesian cemetery, DBFC-Lawaan.
