Don Bosco FIS Hosts Health Seminar, Vocation Outreach at DBTC

On October 11, 2024, the Salesians gathered at Don Bosco Technical College-Cebu’s (DBTC) AVR for a Health & Wellness Seminar aimed at maintaining physical health. Dr. Floro Camenforte, Jr., discussed the three primary causes of illness—cellular deficiency, cellular toxicity, and emotional toxicity—and provided practical ways to improve health. In his closing statement, Dr. Camenforte reminded the Salesians of John 13:17, “If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them,” encouraging them to practice what they learned.
The Salesians actively participated in the seminar, especially during the Q&A segment. For those unable to attend in person, the seminar was live-streamed on DBTC’s Facebook page.
In the afternoon, the Salesians took part in a vocation campaign to inspire Bosconians to explore their own vocational paths. After the campaign, a friendly football match was held between the Salesians, Novices, and Aspirants and DBTC’s U17 and U19 varsity players. This activity helped build community spirit and strengthen connections between the Salesians and Bosconians on the playground.
The event was organized by the Commission on Formation, led by Fr. Adrian Mendoza, SDB.
